Based out of the label’s workshop in Barranquilla, Colombia, Geraldine’s team constructs every garment by hand. Having worked closely with seamstresses since her adolescence has instilled in Geraldine a great appreciation for fine craftsmanship and artisanal manufacturing processes —a sensitivity further developed during her time at Parsons School of Design. In New York, Geraldine truly grasped the value of impeccable tailoring and of selecting the right fabric for every design.

Geraldine’s decision to launch her label in her hometown was fueled by her desire to give back to the community that supported her throughout her life. She is honoring that commitment by creating employment opportunities, mainly for women heads of households. For the designer, female empowerment is about nurturing her employees’ talents and offering them a broader vision of what they can achieve. Using her brand as a platform, Geraldine aims at driving progress within her community.
